Leopard Creek Country Club Information

Rated as number one by Golf Digest (www.golfdigest.co.za) in their list of South Africa's 100 Greatest Golf Courses 2009/2010, Leopard Creek Country Club is a must visit for any avid golfer travelling to, or around South Africa. The course was designed by South African golfer Gary Player who many regard as amongst one of the best players in the history of golf.

Located on the southern border of the Kruger National Park Leopard Creek Golf Estate offers an amazing golfing experience for everyone. Situated in amazing surrounds, the estate features a variety of wildlife including crocodiles, hippos, wild boar, antelopes and more. The course also hosts the Alfred Dunhill Championship, a professional golf tournament which is co-sanctioned by the European Tour.

Travel Directions to Leopard Creek from OR Tambo Airport

OR Tambo International Airport is the closest major airport to Leopard Creek Golf Estate and is one of South Africa's busiest airports. The airport is approximately 400km to the east. Below are travel directions that will take you from OR Tambo Airport in Kempton Park to Leopard Creek Golf Estate by car.

1. Start by heading south on to drop-off zone (±450m)
2. Head slightly to the right (±350m)
3. Then take the R21 South ramp to Boksburg (±300m)
4. Keep right at the fork and merge onto the R21 (±4,1km)
5. Take exit 429-Rietfontein to merge onto the N12 toward Witbank (±113km)
6. Merge onto the N4 (±272km)
7. Then turn left at R570 (±2,6km)
8. Next turn right (±150m)
9. Take the 1st left (±85m)
10. And finally take another left and you will be at Leopard Creek

Apart from OR Tambo Airport there is another, much smaller airport close by TSB Malelane Airport which you may be able to connect to from OR Tambo if you are not keen on the long drive.
